“But you have to go school”

Nobody likes me in school,he complained.The teachers dont like me,the superintendent wants to transfer me,the bus drivers hate me,the school board wants me to drop out and the custodians have it in for me.I dont want to go school.
“But you have to go school “ countered his mother.You are healthy,you have a lot to learn,you have something to offer to others,you are leader.And besides you are 45 years old and you are the Principal.

That is a gift!

“I’m afraid, doctor, that my husband has some terrible menatl affliction.Sometimes i talk to him for hours and then discover that he hasnt heard a word.”
“Thats not affliction,madam,thats a gift.”

“Who is the printer?”

The professor was delivering his final lecture of the term,He said “You should devote all the intervening time to studying for the final exams.The question papers are already in the hands of the printers.Now is the time to study.Any questions?”
Silence prevailed for sometime.Then a voice from the rear enquired, “Who is the printer?”

An author dedicated a new book to his wife,without whose absence,he said, it could never have been written!

You would better go and study Geography!
A politician was makinh speech.He shouted,”Friends, I know no North,I know no East,I know no West,I know no South.” A boy in the crowd cried out,”You would better go and studdy Geography.”

Took twenty years to finish a sentence!
Ram: “I know an author who took ten years to write a book.”
Shyam:”Thats nothing! I know a man just released from the prison who took twenty years to finish a sentence.”

His hands in his own pockets!

The jovial lawyer,rising to address a gathering after dinner,noticed that in audience was another gentleman,who was well known as one of the foremost after dinner speakers in the nation.The lawyer,striking an informal pose,with his jacket open and his hands in his pockets,said, "How odd to see my friend George in the audience,demonstrating that a speaker can listen to someone else’ words on occasions.”And from the audience, George cried out, "And how odd to see my good friend Henry on the podium,demonstrating that a lawyer can have his hands in his own pockets on occasions.”
